Happy Valentine's Day, or Singles Awareness Day, or whatever you people want to call it
posted a little thing where he described stuff about his Autism, so I thought I might as well do it too.
Name:
Huy Minh Le
Age: 22
Type of Autism: PDD-NOS and signs of Aspergers.
Talent (besides your art skills on DA): Writing, definitely writing. Whether it's appreciating someone else's writing, or to give feedback on someone's writing, just writing in general. Mostly character-based writing.
Likes in general: Games, Books, Movies, anything with a story to tell. Even Theatre if I have the money. I also like to listen to the work-in-progress of other people. I never judge unfinished work, as in my opinion, everything will always be a work-in-progress.
Dislikes in general: People who seem dead-set on liking or hating something before they even experience it. Especially when they claim they want to become a writer or designer of sorts, since keeping an open mind is like the pure basics of everything. You can like a game company or hate a studio all you want, but keep enough of an open mind that either can do both wrong and right.
What keeps you calm: Music and drawing.
What annoys you: When someone criticizes some trivial thing, not so much for entertainment or because it really annoys them, but for some misguided feeling of superiority for "I noticed this fault before you did."
I personally think it doesn't just ruin it for other people but also themselves, considering they're so busy finding faults in everything that they are unable to appreciate the fun parts of things. Basically party poopers for the sake of some self righteous image complex.
Sensitive to: Heat. Definitely heat. And crowds, which usually comes together with the former. Body heat.
Fetishes (be honest): Well, no way I can hide from this XD
I do kinda like the image of a young little sister that's dependent on her big brother
I cross the line at them actually doing anything though.
Addicted to: Tic Tacs.
Weakness: I suffer from procrastination. XD
I seem to be unable to finish what I start.
I do try to combat it by having people warn me, but then stuff like School comes in your way
Strength: When I start something though, I'm VERY enthusiastic. I could come up with a complete backstory of a character the moment a team member has the basic sketch of them. I could come up with great character developments just by hearing someone telling about a character flaw. I can come up with several challenges just by hearing someone talk about a game concept.
Your game's first meaningful action!
Today I'd like to talk about your game's first meaningful action.
POP QUIZ! When you start a game, what's the first thing you do?
Uhm... okay, I mean AFTER the Main Menu of the game.
Well... yes, usually walking is the first action you learn, but what I meant is the first MEANINGFUL thing you do in the game.
See, I've recently been part of a little playthrough with my friend ~DemonStoat (https://www.deviantart.com/demonstoat), where each of us presented our favourite games.
I presented Ninja Gaiden Black (shocking, I know) and :iconDemonStoat: presented Kingdom Hearts II.
Yeah... two TOTALLY different games, one is a game where you play a cold-blooded murderer of thousands
Working in a Team
Today I'd like to talk about working in a Team
Now this may be horrifying for some people to hear, but I'll just be direct so the shock can die down as you read this post.
*clears throat*
When making a game... you have to SOCIALIZE!
I know, right? The horror!
Of course, it IS possible to work on a game on your own, you just have to either have the patience of a saint or the obsession of a perfectionist crazy person.
No offense to ~DemonStoat (https://www.deviantart.com/demonstoat) of course.
Yeah, that's the kind of people I hang around with, god I need more friends...
But yeah, working alone on a video game is a whole other topic, so for now we'll just focus on working in
How to do Love Triangles right in Video Games
Today I'd like to talk about Rurouni Kenshin and how in my opinion it can help people understand the charm of Love Triangles and how it can be incorporated in games.
Rurouni Kenshin (also known as Samurai X in some countries) is a romantic story full of bloodshed, decapitations, emotional torments and a main character who's probably the definition of a depressed soul who stopped putting value in his own life ever since the war.
Naturally, it's one of my most favourite Manga of all time.
Does that say something about me?
Okay, in fairness, the Manga (as well as all it's adaptations, be it Anime, OVAs and Live-Action Movies) is a lot more opt
Lights! Camera! Action!
I just got myself a new Green Screen (and Blue Screen, but you don't see it here) as well as a bunch of Studio Lights.
These will likely help add some professionality to my videos (or at least as much as you can call my stuff professional :P ).
I've already tested out the Green Screen.
It'll need some tweaking, but it works well so far!
Let's see where this new equipment will take us, eh? ;)

This was an interesting read and I guess that procrastination is a thing most people (especially artists) have to cope with.
Sometimes the problem is having 'too many' ideas or trying too hard to finish something quickly but in a qualitative manner, meaning you'll soon stumble over your own perfection in one way or another, having things 'not-going-your-way' can also help in making that task harder. At certain times it's like you're trying to push a brick through a sieve.
It's hard to realise your dreams, even if you have the means to do so, it just takes a strong will to keep on pushing through, but in the end it'll be worth it.
